Mainly includes papers and anecdotes relating to my own experiences in British Gas, when after training to become a supervisor on a steam reformer, I then went on to do failure investigation and carry out research into materials for oil and coal gasification projects.
Later on my work shifted into advanced energy conversion using Stirling Engines and advanced gas turbines.
